Bertie is an English Literature graduate from London. After studying at the University of Liverpool for three years, Bertie moved to Berlin to learn German and explore the much hyped scene. In Berlin he satisfies his love for the stage by volunteering at a local theatre. When temporarily tired of kebabs, coffee and the hustle of activity on the streets, Bertie occasionally pops over the boundaries of Berlin to enjoy the peace of the woods and fields that ring the city, sampling the Landbier and feeding strawberries to the horses. Both on these excursions and throughout his daily life in Berlin, Bertie jots down what he finds, due to both the desire to record his impression of the place and to share what he has found therein.
